Window Frame and Sash Repair: Bondo, Carpentry and Paint near Lake Monticello in Palmyra VA

Final result: the rebuilt sash, brickmold, and frame fully finished with paint, restoring a clean and uniform exterior appearance.

Problem: The window trim, frame, and sash were rotting due to age and repeated rainwater exposure. This deterioration risked damaging the surrounding house framing and created an unattractive, visibly deteriorated spot on the exterior.

Repair: The repair involved cutting away all rotted material, hardening the remaining wood, and then using a combination of carpentry and epoxy to rebuild the frame, sash, and trim.
